Terms of Service
Effective July 5, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of DeckCP, the deck-editing application and website at deckcp.com (the "Service"), operated by DeckCP ("we", "us"). By creating an account or otherwise using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Using the Service
You must be able to form a binding contract to use the Service and, if you're under 18, you may only use it with a parent or guardian's consent. You're responsible for the security of your account and for all activity that happens under it.
2. Your content
You retain ownership of the decks, slides, images, and other content you create or upload ("Your Content"). By using the Service, you grant us a limited license to host, store, and process Your Content solely to operate and provide the Service to you.
You're responsible for Your Content and confirm you have the rights to use and upload it. Don't upload content that infringes others' rights, is unlawful, or violates these Terms.
3. Acceptable use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any unlawful purpose or to violate any law.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Service or other users' accounts or content.
- Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Service.
- Reverse engineer or misuse the Service beyond what these Terms permit.
4. Third-party sign-in
You may sign in using Google OAuth or an email magic link. When you use Google sign-in, you also agree to Google's own terms governing that authentication. We only receive the profile information Google provides (name, email, photo) to create and manage your account.
5. Availability
We aim to keep the Service available and reliable, but we don't guarantee uninterrupted or error-free operation. We may modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time.
6. Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms or use the Service in a way that could cause us or others harm or legal liability.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, merchantability, or non-infringement.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, DeckCP will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising from your use of the Service.
9. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we'll update the effective date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
